Cowboys/Chargers Superbowl (1 Viewer)

Agreed, not too far on the limb with this prediction.

We'll see though, injuries are going to play a big role from here on out.

Imagine if Grossman and Romo meet in the playoffs, their combined experience in terms of career starts would add up to almost two complete seasons. Got to love it.

This would seem like the odds on favorite right now....San Diego and Dallas are the most balanced teams in each conference. But everything is so tight.....and injuries and rolls make a difference.

I don't care who wins the Super Bowl, as long as it's a different team that wins their first Super Bowl in 20 years.

BEARS!

Chargers!

The Cowboys are merely the flavor of the week. A month ago everybody was ready to bury them and call 'em dead when Bledsoe couldn't lead them anywhere.

Something has changed since then, no?The Bears aren't going anywhere with Grossman at QB.

Last time I checked they've only lost one game with Grossman at QB.And regarding their 'weak' schedule. They've beaten more winning teams than 'the great' Tom Brady this season.

What does this have to do with strength of schedule?
The Bears can only play who the NFL schedules them to play. And the fact of the matter is, they've beaten more winning teams than 'the great' Tom Brady this year.

I'd prefer that they played a tougher schedule to make them more playoff ready - but again, they can only play who's on their schedule.

I guess I just don't really see how any of this changes the fact that the Bears have played a weak shedule this season. And aside from this Sunday's football game, I definitely don't see what Brady has to do with the Chicago Bears schedule.

Not trying to give you a hard time, just trying to understand your point.

Some would say that playing a weak schedule allows them the luxury of not being as beaten up going into the playoffs. Especially with the extra bye week.Home field advantage might help them too.

Just ask Seattle how the easy schedule improves your chances to make the superbowl (Last year the schedule was cake for the 'Hawks).

Also, IMO with all the players that have been added and subtracted in NE, it seems they are still a team that is trying to get an identity on offense. Are they primarily a running team? Are they primarily a passing team? I couldn't say what they do best. And you know what they say about a team struggling with identity - they have no identity.

Compare that to SD, who definetely has an identity on O and D (when Merriman is palying). I doubt that NE will be able to stop SD this year.

Now SD vs Indy is another thing altogether.....................

Just my :2cents:
