Thanks so much for whoever was responsible or this finally coming to fruition!

I was just about to make my yearly foray into researching dual-boot setup for my macbook pro (before finally caving and borrowing my dad's old Powerbook that is already dual-boot) for my drafts in the next couple weeks. Then I happened across the link on the page.

THANK YOU!

NOTE: These versions are slightly stripped down but they're still MORE than serviceable and way better than what we had before. This is a fantastic surprise and a great stepping stone to a full-featured setup.

I've used the draft dominator on my PC for the last 3 years and love it. Although I don't follow it exactly, it helps me to see the strength of other teams drafts while I draft and can help me not make rash decisions when the clock is ticking down to the last seconds (we usually get a minute per pick to speed things up). It's a very helpful tool for tracking the draft as it goes along and don't know what I'd do without it.

I am a mac guy now. I still have my old PC. Last year I drafted on my Mac while draft dominating on my PC.

One question.

What am I missing out on with the MAC version?

I'd love to draft at work where I have the pleasure of having two external monitors (plus no nagging wife) and just hook those up to my MAC, but I wouldn't want to miss out on something the Windows version offers.

Any way to see what I am missing out on the MAC version?

I would love to not have to bring my other computer to work.

Bump in case folks haven't realized this is available.

The key features (list of players, draft tracker, team by team lineup tracker, SOS, etc are all there. There are likely some other features missing but overall it's got the same functionality and look/feel as the PC version from what I've seen.

MISSING:

- Can't enter your schedule to see week by week projections (speculative anyway)

- Ability to search player list (the only notable missing feature IMO)

- ???

Thanks again guys

- My Team Mock Draft

- Draft Summary

- Import from PD

- Some other much less important pieces

Thanks again guys
The above are the items that I miss from the Windows version. Regardless, it's great to see FBG moving ahead with a Mac version. One can only hope that an iPad app is on the horizon.

One thing that seems like it would be a quick fix - it would be nice to have a background behind all of the smaller windows. The Windows version has this, and it makes it feel more cohesive.

also seeing a disparity between projected scores (Windows vs. Mac), based on the same projections and scoring system.

In the latest release:

Added Draft Board

Added Keeper Support

Added Auction Tracking Support

Added Player Search to the Player Pool

I agree about the background and spaces on the Mac, although it's not very bothersome with an extra monitor as you can just run DD by itself in that window.

Will be interested to hear if there actually is a difference in player rankings, or if it just had to do with updating.

Looks like I won't have to dust off the ol pc after all this year.

It's always scary because it always has the chance to freeze up/shut down at any moment as it's about 6 years old.

Did NOT have to do with updates. Double-checked them, and they are the same.

ETA Bruce answered a post in the Applications forum that hopefully will do the trick. Will try tomorrow and report back.

You guys are the best
We knew there are a ton of mac folks out there that don't want to screw around with the programs for running windows on the mac.My laptop is a Macbook Air and we have an imac desktop at home. And obviously iPad / iPod are dominant. We definitely understand the role that Macs are playing.J

Does the Mac version not have the ability to add the fantasy season schedule any more?

I thought you used to be able to inout the schedule of who you would be playing on what weeks.

Maybe it doesn't matter, I just want to make sure I have this Mac version set up correctly as it's a little different than the PC version.

I'm also seeing this. Did we ever get an answer.I have the same projecting date on both August 25th. Have checked and checked to make sure my setting are the same but value is different from Mac to Windows. This can't be good.Which one is the correct one?
