Crumpler injury status? (1 Viewer)

After his monster game this week, I am expecting him to be very good the rest of the way although probably not this good. I hear that he left the game in OT with an injury. Not sure what type of injury or how serious but I need him the rest of the way. Any idea what his status is or any new information?

There was nothing in today's AJC about Crumpler sustaining an injury; plus, I didn't see him get hurt. One of thier OL (Forney) had a shoulder injury ... maybe that's what you're thinking about?

I caught about 5 minutes of an Alge Crumpler interview on Sirius Radio today. No talk about an injury.

Granted, I missed the end of the interview, but I assume they would have discussed any serious injury sooner rather than later.

Just so you guys know I am not making this up. I heard Adam Caplan, supposedly the injury guru (I think he is basically a clown ff analyst with John Hanson and his "vibes" on players) on Sirius Sunday night say that "Crumpler left the game in OT with an injury and did not return." However, I also think that Crumpler had the catch that set up the winning FG in OT and didn't need to come back in although he was hit low on that play. He scared me with that info so I was wondering if there was anything to it. So far, no news is good news it seems! :)

Crumpler tears it up before being shaken up

Published Sun Oct 22 5:55:00 p.m. ET 2006

(Rotoworld) Tight end Alge Crumpler (6-117-3), who caught fire Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, was shaken up towards the end of overtime in Week 7.

Impact: He did not return to the game, but there was not much of it left. The stocky sixth-year player has been a relative disappointment this season, but a revamped Falcons passing attack could catapult Crumpler back to top-five status.
