Daily Fantasy Thread (1 Viewer)

After the Rain

Footballguy
This is the first year I have followed baseball for a long time. Why? It is because of daily fantasy.

My journey in daily fantasy sports began this year in football season. I heard about a couple sites here at footballguys and started playing. I loved it!

After football season I even tried basketball and now baseball (following both for the first time in a while).

So far all three have been profitable both in the freerolls and money games.

Today, I thought I would start a thread for the day. My hope is that it might be something like Dodd's Stock Strategy thread where multiple people share ideas and together we win a little. It might not be moatloads, but maybe we could do alright.

I don't know though, maybe there won't be interest. Today I'll just share some of my picks and leave it at that to see if there is any interest.

With that, here are some guys I like today:

P-F Hernandez

C-Molina, Shoppach (if playing), Laird (ip), Suzuki

1B-Votto (love him but he is expensive), Craig, Thome (very cheap option on many sites)

2B-Pedroia, Fontenot

SS-Peralta, Jeter

3B-Mi Cabrera, (if you have the money), ARod, Freese

OF-Reddick, S Smith, Bruce, C Gonzales

If anyone needs help on sites to reference or anything I'd love to help.

I'm not a huge fan of using Hernandez tonight. It's his first game back from a small injury and I don't see him as a sure thing for the price. I would prefer Bumgarner.

I like most of your hitting options. Votto is worth almost any price how he's hitting. Peralta is an interesting call coming off of his twins being born.

Smith back at Coors I like as long as he is actually starting. I'm not sure if they sometimes DH him or not, but obviously that's not an option tonight. For a sleeper, I like Scutaro tonight. Always ready to hit at home and facing a strike thrower with mediocre stuff. Could be good for a couple hits.

Colby Rasmus might be worth a flier for cheap players.
