Been awhile since I've needed to be able to keep good track of notes, projects, deadlines, etc for work.  What do you fellow FBGs use?  Still paper or is everyone using an electronic pen on their Surfaces?

Let's say your new boss is describing a new project and you're taking copious notes.  Pad and pen still the best method, yes?  And is there a way to digitize this well these days?

Outlook is probably the standard answer here, but if you're not careful you can really weigh yourself down, especially if you plunge deep into using the tasks feature. If you have Office 365, you can create groups (or Teams, or whatever Microsoft is calling it this week), which is kind of a SharePoint lite that integrates into Outlook.

Nowadays, for simply getting #### done, Outlook and smart phone apps pale in comparison to the mighty 3x5 note card.

For a situation such as this with key conversation to keep note of, I would recommend checking out LiveScribe. Pen records the audio as you take notes. You can later go back to the notes and it remembers where in the conversation you were and can replay the audio later on, so you can fine tune what you wrote. Has ios/android apps to upload to as well.

This looks very interesting and almost exactly what I'm looking for.  Does anyone have any experience with either this pen or another that does the same thing?

I have access to a Surface Pro 3 with a stylus.  Try this?
We have a lot of folks at work that use that along with OneNote. It works well for them.

I'm still a pen and paper guy, but I also never work on projects where I have to go back through a ton of notes.
