Dallas Clark - Jacob Tamme Dynasty Value? (1 Viewer)

Just wonder what the dynasty value of these players are? Both are suddenly available in my dynasty league.

So whats the take here?

Clark - perennial top 10 TE when healthy and when Manning is healthy.

Tamme - has proven when Clark is out and Manning is healthy - can be a top 10 TE week to week.

Dallas Clark

Positives

- Proven to be a top 10 TE in the past

- Several years left on his contract

Negatives

- 32 yrs old

- injuries piling up

Jacob Tamme

Positives

- Proven to be a top 10 TE when Clark is out and Manning is Healthy.

- Only 25

Negatives

- Clark in his way

- Free agent in 2012 - Will Colts lock him up?

So which player is the one you want to stash for next year in Dynasty? I guess a lot will hinge on whether or now the Colts trade Manning away and go with Luck in the draft. Seems to be so much talk lately about Manning's career possibly being over or being traded. Also the "given" that the Colts will take Luck with the #1 pick in the draft.

I am not so sure. Seems like the Colts could take Luck and let him play behind Manning for two years and have him step in just like Favre/Rodgers or Montana/Young. Either way - does having Luck as the Colts starting QB in 2012 degrade the value of a healthy Clark or Tamme?

So what is the shark move? Which one is a stash for 2012.

Or is all this a big waste of time? They are on the wire for a good reason.

Clark easily. I can kind of see why people may be down on him but to drop him is crazy. some might reference his age (32) but look at Tony Gonzalez right now at what he is doing. TEs usually perform very well into the twilight of their career if they are top TEs to start with. I would take clark and look forward to next season.
