Anytime a kid wins conference offensive player of the year as a soph, you take notice, especially when its a QB in the MAC. You also have to love that he'll have been a starter for his whole career - the famous QB formula values number of college starts greatly. You also have to like that he started out at 63% accuracy as a frosh and bumped that to over 66% this year. Lefevour faced three big six conference programs this year - Kansas, Clemson, and Purdue - he had a bad game vs. Kansas, better games vs. Clemson and Purdue, but he couldn't even keep his team in the game in the first half - of course Big Ben got blown out in his one game vs. a big six opponent in his junior (and final year). I havent gotten to watch too much of Lefevour, but he certainly seemed mobile and sturdy enough, and he has a quick mind and good mechanics. I wouldn't put him above Tebow or Stafford, but I cant think of another soph QB I would definitely put ahead of him.
