Danario Alexander (1 Viewer)

Absolutely. He was considered a great prospect before his injury. His stock may have fallen but I am still a believer in his talent. This may be a real shark move going forward... IF he has recovered from that injury. Bradford is maturing very quickly and the targets that Clayton was receiving will go somewhere. Yes, I know Amendola is there but if Alexander is healthy you have to figure he will get some looks.

Rams signed WR Danario Alexander off their practice squad.

Rams doctors are apparently confident that Alexander's four-times surgically repaired left knee is healthy enough for the NFL. Alexander hasn't been involved in contact drills since the end of his senior season at Missouri, so he's not ready for a full-time role. It remains to be seen if he'll even be active on game days, though he's definitely worth a flier in Dynasty leagues. He's got plenty of opportunity to move up the depth chart.

Update...completely opposite from what I heard on the radio today (I live STL).

Unless you've got a large # of taxi spots, I'd pass.

I don't see Robinson/Gibson having a whole lot of redraft/dynasty value. Alexander's a huge long shot. Loss of Clayton is huge IMO.

STL will address the 1 spot this offseason. Their current possibilities are fodder.Amendola will def have redraft value and should have a nice slot future with the team.

I've never heard of this guy but I'm interested in keeping an eye on anyone who could maybe fill Clayton's spot. Thank you for the heads up.

He's definitely a talent. He's like a more polished version of David Gettis of the Panthers, but with far more durability issues. I would expect very little from him this year and I wouldn't get too attached to him due to his injury history. The guy couldn't complete practices at the Senior Bowl. Either he's healthy enough to withstand real punishment and simply tried to gut his way through the Sr. Bowl to elevate his draft status, or he's just healthy enough to run around, get a contract, and get hurt again the first time he gets real contact.

Denario was one of the best wrs I have seen in the college ranks in the last few years - better than Maclin in my opinion while at Mizzou. Unfortunately he has bad wheels, so I don't think he'll ever live up to his full potential. Would I take a chance on him? Not until he showed he can survive a few NFL games.

They didn't get him into camp until there was a week left, he wasn't ever going to make the roster. Really like the kid's skill set, I'll be watching...
