Am I alone in thinking that Ware is now the handcuff for Bradshaw owners?
Jacobs has done serious damage to his chances of anything more than sparse playing time. His dancing around behind the line and antics off the field and with the media has hurt him in more ways than one with the Giants coaching staff. If it weren't because he is on the books for such a high salary I'm not sure he'd even be a part of this team anymore.
Ware, in very limited playing time, has looked good running the ball and just as good catching it out of the backfield. Only 25 and with plenty of tread remaining on his tires he could and should do a commendable job in the backfield in the event of a Bradshaw injury. I don't think Jacobs will completely disappear by any means but it's pretty apparent that he doesn't have what it takes to be a full-time back in this league. I think Ware would take over Bradshaw's role as the lead back while Jacobs would remain in his current role (if indeed he still has a role).
Thoughts?
