Thinking about putting in a waiver for Darnell Mooney. He has been getting pretty decent target percentage each game from Cousins and producing.

Justin Jefferson
Cooper Kupp
B Thomas, Jr
JSN
Diontae Johnson

Obviously the first two, three really, I want to keep. Thinking about putting in waiver claim for Moody and dropping Johnson. Carolina’s offense scares me. Especially after this past weekend. Thoughts….?

I think in the long run it might not matter that much but Johnson might have more steady production if we assume that last week was an anomaly and not a harbinger. Cousins won't throw for 500 yards each game and McCloud still gets involved. Is there someone else you could drop for Mooney instead of DJ?

I thought about dropping J Smith-Njigba for Mooney too, but like his upside and thought I’d keep him if DK Metcalf goes down for any extended time.

Guess I was thinking that there may be more upside to Mooney over Johnson moving forward. It has also crossed my mind that the Panthers may put Young back in since they have so much invested in him. Maybe I’m overthinking this and should leave well enough alone for the time being…..?

But to answer your question, I would keep DJ if this is a PPR league and probably go with Mooney if not. Reason being that with your WR's the only way either guy gets in the lineup is if you get a few injuries or if the guy blows up. I think Mooney has more upside for the blowup in non PPR.
