Darren Sproles - RB, NO - expected to be OUT (1 Viewer)

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3221/darren-sproles

ESPN's Adam Schefter and CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora both reported Sunday morning that Darren Sproles (hand) is expected to be active for Sunday's Saints-Raiders game at 4:05PM ET.

La Canfora said Sproles "looks good," and Schefter stated that he's "expected" to play. Although the Saints' backfield has changed since Joe Vitt returned from suspension, Sproles has always been their most effective back and he seems like a lock to resume his normal, 10-12 touch-per-game role. Sproles has averaged six receptions per game this year when he's been healthy.

Any word on KR/PR Duties would be appreciated for those of us that count on Sproles in leagues that use them.

New Orleans Saints RB Darren Sproles (hand) said Friday, Nov. 16, that he is fit to return kicks, if needed, in Week 11 against the Oakland Raiders. He has been battling some swelling in his hand, and his status will be decided Saturday, Nov. 17.

FOX's @JayGlazer has "late-breaking scoop." Other outlets reporting Sproles will play, Glazer reports he's OUT today. One more week.

Glazer nailed it:

Darren Sproles (hand) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Credit Fox Sports' Jay Glazer with this scoop earlier in the day after CBS Sports and ESPN reported that Sproles would be playing. The Saints will let him rest his hand for another week with Chris Ivory and Mark Ingram playing well. Both backs are RB2/flex options against Oakland. Sproles will, in all likelihood, be back for Week 12 against the 49ers. Also inactive for the Saints are WR Greg Camarillo, DE Junior Galette, RT Zach Strief, LB Scott Shanle, DT Tyrunn Walker, and CB Corey White. Nov 18 - 2:31 PM
