Maurice Stovall is the man opposite Galloway. Stovall could be a nice sleeper.Boston is 73 years old at this point. That DUI may have been ended his chances this year.If he's the D Boston of old, as he was looking like in practice, before his fake DUI, he could emerge as the man with that WR corps.

Also, he didn't get a DUI. He was arrested -- not convicted, and all the breath/urine test results so far have been clean. He's not even 30.Maurice Stovall is the man opposite Galloway. Posts like this provides further evidence that the quality of this board is getting diluted more and more each year. Don't be a tool. The original poster is asking a legit question and deserves more than just aMaurice Stovall is the man opposite Galloway. Stovall could be a nice sleeper.Boston is 73 years old at this point. I think you know the answer to your question before you even asked it. We don't know. Boston started a couple of the pre-season games and has shown flashes. Gruden stated we was pleasantly surprised about how Boston performed in camp. He said he looked like the Boston that dominated early in his career.I've seen nothing come across the news wires that would indicate that Boston has lost his starting spot to Stovall in the line-up. So, it comes down to speculation at this point. He if posts great (or even good) stats in Game 1, then you'll have to be high on the waiver list to get him. So, it might be a good idea to claim him off waivers now if you have an extra roster spot to burn.I took a shot with him late as my last WR, any insight if this guy will emerge?? Or is he finished???Will we ever see the dominating Boston again????
Well, there is more to FF than RBs. How many threads do we need about the top RBs? We pretty much know more or less what to expect out of the top RBs.Particularly for leagues that start 3 WRs, I think Boston is an intruiging topic. While it may be more exciting to devote multiple threads to other late round-waiver wire fliers (yes, fliers) such as the Jones brothers, Boston may have more production than the Jones brothers. At this point, I don't want to have to read through a bunch of old posts if this thread has the latest impressions. He is on many WWs. An earlier poster is correct that if he has a good week 1, he will cost a high WW pick. So, to me, picking him up comes down to whether you have a roster spot to burn. If so, the risk/reward ratio seems pretty good to me. I can't remember when Boston was subpar when he was healthy (please correct me on this if I'm wrong). But is the guy capable of staying healthy?Do we really need another David Boston thread? There has been more on this board about him than any of the top RBs. Something is very wrong.

Now THIS is borderline AC Forum material here. If you're looking at either of these guys as your WR4 or greater (as you should be) then you need to look at your scoring system. In leagues where you earn points for return yardage, then jones might be worth holding onto at this point. Personally, I believe Boston has signficiantly greater upside (800/5) if he is in fact healthy this year. In a case where my other WRs were solid and I wasn't feeling like I'd need to rely on him..... I'd gamble on Boston a little more right now. Particularly given that Jones might well still hang around on your wire in most shallower leagues anyway.Would you rather have Jacoby Jones or Boston on your roster right now?
Yeah, you're right, I guess not hearing anything since his arrest (blew 0.0 on breathalyzer, nothing in urine) made me a little weary. I think he could emerge as a huge sleeper, he's on my bench with my fingers crossed.el-gato-grande said:I think you know the answer to your question before you even asked it. We don't know. It's probably because you're sick and tired of his ups and downs.Yeah, you're right, I guess not hearing anything since his arrest (blew 0.0 on breathalyzer, nothing in urine) made me a little weary. Nope. Gruden has said there will be a committee across from Galloway.linkThumper said:Maurice Stovall is the man opposite Galloway. Stovall could be a nice sleeper. If he's the D Boston of old, as he was looking like in practice, before his fake DUI, he could emerge as the man with that WR corps.
Gruden said he still has not decided on a starting flanker, a job shared by Maurice Stovall, David Boston and Michael Clayton. Same goes for the backup QB job.
Not even thirty. The DUI didn't affect him from making the roster. In fact, he's made it past last seaosn where he was the firswt player waived from the final roster to make room for adding other team's roster cuts. He's made the team.Congratulations - two points stated, two points wrong.Thumper said:Boston is 73 years old at this point. That DUI may have been ended his chances this year.

Hmmm... I didn't take it that way at all...However, typos aside, it is pretty pathetic that a large percentage of posters can't write grammatically correct English. It's probably because you're sick and tired of his ups and downs.Yeah, you're right, I guess not hearing anything since his arrest (blew 0.0 on breathalyzer, nothing in urine) made me a little weary. ummm.....huh?Correcting what? He highlighted "weary" as the reference of his response. DNA won't tell you what he's eaten for the past 29 years, but it WILL confirm that he does NOT have purple eyes.Once Boston's pee came back clean of the 10 drugs they commonly test for, didn't the cops send his blood off to be tested by a Mass Spectrometer capable of screening for 1,000's upon 1,000's of drugs, down to levels of .00001 microns?
Also I've heard they've decided to go even deeper & look into his DNA where they can examine anything & everything that he's ingested over the course of his entire life.
Surely they'll find some microscopic speck of illicit drugs in his system from sometime in his life.
Then they'll be able to say "Ah Ha! Told you so. He was having flash backs to the MJ he got as second hand smoke while in High School." & arrest him.
