Wow. Stay classy, New Orleans. I mean you're getting the Super Bowl (again) and all of the local revenue to go along with it. While many decry what Goodell is doing to the league via fines/suspensions for illegal hits, this is biting the hand that feeds you these next 2 weeks, no?

Hand that feeds? The fans are the hand that feed. The commish is taking food out of their mouth with his hands. I do not think this guy suffers enough backlash, I do not think the float is harsh enough.Maybe they should add some powder puff players to walk with the float too, since that is what he is setting up the league as.

This parade isn't known for being classy. And Goodell reamed the Saints over what has been proven to be wholesale false allegations. He owes NO a sincere apology. Since that isn't going to happen, he should expect backlash. If I were him I'd pack a bunch of meals to bring down with him...

That's an instant classic. I hope beyond hope that Goodell sees that every night in his dreams. Now we need a Bettman one involving the back end.

"The Krewe du Vieux is one of the first parades on the Carnival calendar, and surely the most explicit. The Times-Picayune says it "aims for eyebrow-raising, low-brow amusement and often hits the mark with its rude designs and naughty details." But topicality is important, and with Roger Goodell coming to town for the Super Bowl in two weeks, nothing's more topical than welcoming the commissioner to New Orleans."

Stay? Wouldn't that imply that New Orleans is/was classy to begin with? Place is fun as hell, but classy doesn't come to mind when I think of the city.

It's Krewe du Vieux. This is probably the least offensive thing that Krewe has ever put on a float. I'd have expected them to have a large naked woman using her actual lady parts to push out a plastic version of Goodell.

 Had it been the Packers, you know there'd be a significant number of similar holdouts among the cheeseheads.

Maybe...but maybe not those who claim things like that which is just plain false.

No. Sorry you have no sense of humor.

Goodell is absolutely despised here, he completely screwed over the team and the city and has made no attempt to make amends.
