I'm just spit balling my thoughts here but please add your own thoughts.

For me, some of the best moderators available today would be:

Brett Baier

Megyn Kelly

Brit Hume- he is a bit crotchety these days so maybe more of a second tier guy

Anderson Cooper

Chris Wallace

Jake Tapper

Matt Lauer

I'm good with Lester Holt for the simple fact that he's plain vanilla and doesn't appear to have a bias one way or the other.

I know the mods have already been set but I'm just thinking who I consider fair, intelligent and capable of herding cats.

For this cycle this would be awesome and appropriate.  Add Sally Jesse Raphael for the female perspective and we're good.

Chris Wallace is very good at it. And Megyn Kelly did a good job too. (Plus she's super hot)

I think Michael Smerconish would do a good job.

Lauer is a moron. 

Along with pretty much every name mentioned in this thread. 

The best debate would be one with no moderators. It is impossible to find one in today's world that is not influenced by the CF/DNC cartel. 

If we were required to pick two I would nominate Tim and that AAA guy from the FFA.
