dressing outside the bird is the shark move here. put some loosely packed citrus and aromatics in the cavity and break out the Pyrex for your dressing.
yes and we were rightI still call it stuffing but haven't stuffed a bird with it in over 10 years; it's cooked separately.

I'm 37. Not aware of a family member dying in my lifetimeIf you cook the stuffing in the bird there's a good chance at least one of your guests will die. Therefore, serve the stuffing to the wife's family and dressing to your own family (assuming you like them). If you're fed up with life eat all the stuffing yourself.
