Deebo trade (1 Viewer)

Proposed- Deebo Samuel for a 2021 1st (likely 4-6 range) and a 2022 2nd. Thoughts?
Depends on your needs.  If you are rebuilding it's a tough choice because Deebo has shown flashes but has significant risk.  If you are a contender then I think this is an easy accept because you aren't counting on Deebo anyway and getting an early pick could give you a cornerstone for the future (I don't think Deebo is that based on usage and injury risk).

what does your roster look like?
Thanks for the replies. I have Deebo in this case. There’s contracts involved here so can’t hold everyone forever but I have:

Cousins, Tannehill, Lock
Kamara, M Sanders, Drake, Swift

Evans, D Adams, Mclaurin, D Slayton, Deebo, Lamb

Waller, Giesicki, Jarwin

Wow...  I should have asked how many teams also?  My guess is 10?    With the WRs you have, the deal does make sense.  I have been in a 12-team contract style dynasty league going on year 19 and I am consistently turning over my roster.

It’s 12. Leaning towards accepting because Deebo seems like a hit and miss guy but he was impressive last year at times so always hard to move on!

Given your roster, even if you start 3 WRs, with the depth you have at the position plus the youth at the position already, I think this is a deal you take.

I concur.  Take the trade.  Deebo has a history of injuries dating back to college.  He missed time last year as well.

Deebo missed just one game last year... out of 1086 total offensive snaps (including the game he missed), he played 728 for 67% and if we exclude the total snaps of the game he missed, he played in 71% of the snaps in the games he played.  Over games 8 through 17 (right after his missed game), he played in just over 80% of the total snaps.  Not that bad for a rookie.    Freshman season, nagging injuries, Junior year, broke his fibula... and Sophomore and Senior years, did not miss any time.

Most players miss time.
