One of my least favorite things about fantasy football is picking defenses week to week. Nothing worse that having a great team and getting beat by some guy who gets 25 points from his defense.
yeah, I know
Each preseason I really like the Defense By Committee strategy article and all the analysis in it. Only problem is that things change quickly and the ranking stats are based on last year making adjustments necessary
I think it would be cool to have a feature similar to the custom offense cheetsheet every week, but a defensive cheatsheet where we could enter our scoring setup (ints, fumble recovery, return yards, etc), then see results that show:
team | rank of avg ff points scored against | week X opponent | rank avg defense ff points scored.
Might be a cool way to easily identify good defensive matchups from week to week that are on the ww. Same theory as the defense by committee article, just with updated stats every week.
Anyone else think this would be helpful? Maybe there is something similar already that I am missing.
possible new feature Joe?
