Defense & Special Teams - Points Allowed (1 Viewer)

So after many a years of playing fantasy football I just came to a realization about my main league... and was not sure if this is commonplace or a mistake in my league.

I realized this issue last night when I was going against "Dallas Defense & Special Teams" and Buffalo scored on a kickoff return and I did not see any "Points Against" the Dallas D in my league scoring.

Turns out the scoring is setup for points scored against Defense only! We do not punish the team Defense when their Offense gives up a TD on an interception return because the defense was not on the field, but when you draft the D and Special Teams shouldn't they be penalized when they give up 6 points on a kickoff or punt return?!?!?!

Please let me know how this is handled in your league and if the Commish has to make special adjustments for this or not... it sounds like Fanball only looks at the Defense Scoring Against and doesn't give an option to include Special Teams!

Thanks.

my league is like yours. the dallas def allowed 6 points. 1 fg and 3 xp's.

this was one instance where the fantasy scoring for dallas was inflated due to all those defensive td's by buffalo.

c'est la vie.
