Not sure what everyone thinks about Thomas, but if Manning comes to Denver this guy should be Gold. I picked him up off waivers at the end of the season last year and I was actually thinking about trading Fitz for a first round pick and keeping Thomas IF Manning goes to Denver.

While Thomas certainly gets a bump in Mannning ends up in Denver, I'm a little more tempered in my expectations. First, we don't know who, if anyone,

Denver will bring in to help Manning. Secondly, I think Decker is the guy who gets the biggest bump, as he works the middle of the field exceptionally well on crossing patterns and the like, which gravitates to Manning's natural preferences, although he certainly can make every throw in the book.

I think Thomas is top 25 and perhaps top 20 if Manning ends up in Denver, but WR 1 or top 10 territory is too bullish for me.

How does one go from Thomas is going to be good so I'm then going to trade Fitzgerald? I wouldn't trade Fitzgerald for any pick in this draft, unless it's 1.01 and you are starved at RB. Thomas won't out produce Fitzgerald no matter who the QB is, unless Fitz gets injured.

I wouldn't trade Fitz for Thomas, but I wouldn't agree that Thomas has no shot at outproducing Fitz if Manning is his QB. Victor Cruz outperformed Fitz last season, as did Jordy Nelson; it's not like Fitz is a lock for top 2. There are plenty of guys who aren't as talented as him that have a shot at outproducing Fitz, and Thomas is one of them IMO.

I don't know that I agree with this. It seems to me he's worked the outside plenty with Wayne and Harrison before that. Harrison did everything of course, but I tend think of Wayne as primarily running the same types of routes Thomas would.

The only question I have is how hard does Thomas work (because I don't know)...if he's a hard worker (becuse that is a must playing with a QB like Manning) than I fully expect him to blow up with Manning...the kid is a beast and I can easily see him becoming a legit #1 playing with an elite QB...

Manning certainly can, and did, work all parts of the field. I guess I see Thomas as more of a vertical receiver than Harrison and Wayne, making Decker, a guy who works the middle more effectively, as the Denver WR with the most to gain with a Manning signing.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I really don't see Thomas as a WR 1 if Manning comes aboard. Hope he goes so we can find out. That, and keep him away from the 49ers.

He's a one either way.
If he stays healthy I think he could be too. The #12 WR typically scores about 160 points (1/10, 6). Thomas scored 99 points in the final 7 games (including 2 playoff games) last year. Manning or Tebow, Thomas has game to score big.
