Denver WRs in week 1 and 2 (1 Viewer)

I picked up Eddie Royal in a couple leagues and Darrell Jackson in my most recent. Someone has got to catch the rock with Marshall out.

Who's gonna be the most productive guy in your opinion?

Denver WR Darrell Jackson missed the second and third preseason games with a sprained ankle and has been told he'll sit in Friday's preseason finale in Arizona, reports the Rocky Mountain News. But Jackson said Monday he has healed "tremendously" and remains on track to replace the suspended Brandon Marshall on Sept. 8, opposite Eddie Royal. Jackson, a free-agent pickup who played in San Francisco last season, added that while he would like to be in more of a rhythm, he had sufficient work this offseason and in camp before getting hurt in joint workouts with Dallas to get a proper feel for Denver's offense.

Don't you have a bench guy you drafted who can fill in during injury and bye weeks? I can see Denver running the ball a lot vs. Oak...If I had to say, I would guess Royal.

Chad Johnson, Reggie Brown, Brandon Marshall, Bryant Johnson, Joey Galloway, Darrell JacksonFigure I'll go with CJ, Galloway and one other until Marshall comes back. Reggie Brown is no lock to start with his hammy and Bryant Johnson is hurt too.Disclaimer: This is a 14 team league so WRs were slim pickings. I went S. Jax, Larry Johnson with my first two picks and there wasn't much left.Courtney Taylor is available on waivers, maybe I should drop DJax and plug in Taylor?Anyway...it seems someone has to pick up the production in Den with Marshall out. Just wanted some opinions on who you thought it would be.

Those are good receivers in a 14 team league. I'd go Reggie Brown, unless you get return yars, in which case I'd go Royal. Also, if Royal is the 3rd WR, it might be better for him Week 1. he'd be facing Stanford Routt instead of Hall and Asomougha.

I'm not so sure they won't target Stokley from the slot frequently in the first few games. When healthy, Stokley has been a solid WR, and he appears to be enjoying one of his occasional periods of good health.
