What happened to this guy, I had rather big hopes on him this year and he has just floundered.

I know the Ravens offense hasn't been stellar by any means, and that slowly it seems to be getting better, but c'mon....what happened to Mason?

Last year with Boller at this point in the season :

49 catches w/ 550 yards

This year with McNair:

31 catches and 397 yards

Am I the only one who thought that re-uniting with McNair would have bumped his production this year?

Had hopes of him as a solid #3, and all he has been is a huge #2 in the fecal sense.

I might start Mcnair, Mason, Clayton, Heap, and Musa Smith!

As you say, the passing game hasn't generated a ton of offense, plus you have Heap as the primary option and Clayton getting better (and gaining McNair's trust) every week. I haven't seen him play, but perhaps age is also playing a part in Mason's decline.
