Desean Jackson against the Giants historically (1 Viewer)

Desean Jackson has been all over the place against the Giants since last season. He's a bit dinged but states he is going to play this weekend. This game has huge implications.

(10) Week 11, 2010 (at home): 5 catches for 50 yards despite 10 targets.

(31) Week 14, 2009 (at Giants): 6 catches for 178 and 1TD on 7 targets.

(16) Week 8, 2009 (at home): 3 catches for 78 and 1TD on 4 targets.

Any thoughts or predictions? I tend to think 3 for about 50 and 0TD is his floor while 5 for 140 and 2TD is about his ceiling.

That's a pretty big range. I am a bit worried by his injury.

DJax has been all over the place against everyone. He probably has the biggest range of any WR in the league, very tough to predict.

DeSean Jackson can burn you at times and give you say 3 catches for 40 yards. But other than Chris Johnson, there is no one (and I mean NO one) that is more explosive at any position than DeSean Jackson.

Benching him can cause you a playoff victory. You had better be loaded at the WR position before you even consider not starting #10.

Seriously thinking of sitting him this week for Kenny Britt vs. Houston. Don't like the fact that he is a bit hobbled and going against one of the better defenses in the league. My other starter is Nicks.

This might be more meaningful if:a) there was a sample size of more than 3 gamesb) you compared it to the variance of Desean Jackson's performance against all other teamsIn absence of those lenses, it just looks like random noise.
