Deuce is a much more proven commodity, but his knees are a big concern. Thomas looked quite impressive in very limited time last season but one good game does not equal one great season. Which one is the wiser play, or will both end up being overvalued?

Another useless poll because of how the question was framed.. I doubt that either one will fly off the board in my leagues (Deuce will go 8th round or later because of injury concerns, which makes him a value if you handcuff with Thomas shortly after. so I could see a situation where both could be bargains.

:lmao: Lighten up, Francis.

I'm not proclaiming either of these two guys to be early round selections, but that doesn't mean you stop looking for value once you enter the mid or later rounds of your draft. Also, if you think grabbing an eigth round RB that you then need to turn around and draft a handcuff for "shortly after" is a way to maximize value, I would disagree. Antsports currently has McAllister going in the 7th round, but his stock has been falling while Thomas's ADP has been rising. Thus the point of this poll.

Draft the upside, go Pierre. I'd be surprised if Deuce finishes the season and actually wouldn't be surprised if he's looking for another job September 1.

Thomas owner here, and I've got to say I was pretty underwhelmed by his performance this week. Dropped catchable balls. Didn't make anyone miss. Didn't push the pile. :goodposting:

I would be suprised if Deuce goes off the board in my leagues before round 8, although anything can happen. He is not a value if drafted any higher IMO. But at round 8-9 the strategy of drafting and handcuffing looks good here IMO, because you WILL get good value from the NO running game as a whole.

I also am more bullish on the S. Young/A Hall handcuff now that Torain is out of the picture for awhile. I could see using a 6-7 round pick for Selvin and a 11-12 rounder for Hall.

I don't see either of these as true RBBC situations, but rather as main RB/secondary RB situations with significant injury concerns. This type of situation has the potential to create extra value for your team.

I wouldn't depend on either for more than RB4 production, and at that point, I'm lookign for upside. Deuce has bad knees and has been going off the boards earlier, so I would say Pierre has more value and upside... at RB4!
