2026 RB Class: Who's Got Next | Devy & Dynasty Fantasy Football 2025

Excellent analysis. The top 2 are spot on, imo, although their order is yet to be determined. As a fantasy asset, I am a bit lower on Jonah Coleman than they are. He may be a better NFL back than fantasy producer. Justice Haynes and Kaytron Allen deserve at least an honorable mention. It will be fun to watch this season to see if we have a Jeanty-type of emergence.

Got a single devy slot in my dynasty league (1 QB, .5ppr plus a glut of dumb bonuses) and just picked up Cam Coleman, WR from Auburn who won't enter NFL until 2027.

I am allowed to change this player all thru the NCAA season until the end of the combine.

The following players are taken:

Darius Taylor, RB Minnesota
Nick Singleton, RB Penn State
Jeremiyah Love, RB Notre Dame
Jeremiah Smith, WR Ohio state
Ryan Williams, WR Alabama
Jordyn Tyson, WR Arizona St.
Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
Arch Manning, QB Texas
Antonio Williams, WR Clemson
Lanorris Sellers, QB, SC
Jakobi Lane, WR USC

I was considering Nate Frazier, RB, Georgia, instead of Coleman.

Considering that my team is contending and replenishing RB in two years is equally important to replenishing WR, would you stick with Coleman? Switch to Frazier? Or snag someone not listed?

Keep Coleman. I cannot stress that enough.

I like the passion. Would love to hear what you believe about his outlook.

I love his size 6'3" 197, ability to win contested catches, and his speed. He reminds me of a better DK Metcalf. He is also being compared to another freshman from Alabama Ryan Williams. He plays a physical style that I like and can win contested catches, but also has blazing speed to beat defenders deep. He is super athletic and tracks the ball very well too. Coleman had 38/598/8 for a 16.2 average his freshman year. Not bad. Not bad at all. An area for improvement would be his route tree, but I don't see that as a major issue. As long as he has it between the ears I expect big things from Cam Coleman.

Unfortunately I couldn't obtain him in my 3 devy leagues.

Issac Brown, RB, Louisville, '27

He pops off the screen and looks like a natural receiver out of the backfield. I'm scooping him up late in all my devy drafts
I grabbed him as well. His explosiveness through the hole is off the charts. Very concerned about his size at the next level. 5'9" 190lbs

Devy vs Dynasty: Would You Rather? | Devy & Dynasty Fantasy Football 2025

Jeremiah Smith vs Malik Nabers? - Nabers, but you can't go wrong with either
Arch Manning vs JJ McCarthy? - Manning, but I could change my mind.
Jeremiah Love vs Bucky Irving? - Hell, I don't know. Probably Love. Not sure about the 2026 RBs. Not loving them. Singleton had a bounce back year, but he looked bad the year before. Cedric Baxter is interesting coming off an ACL. I like Darius Taylor, but don't love him. What will his draft capital be?
Ryan Williams vs Ladd McConkey? - McConkey, but I worry about injury. Williams will be very good, but I have a crush on McConkey and would rather have him now than Williams in two years.

Only guy not on that list I would consider over Coleman is Ryan Wingo.

I find this to be one of the hardest exercises. How to value College Studs vs NFL players. I only started Devy play a couple years ago, so I'm learning the lessons we all learned with risk/reward in college. I probably overdrafted Devys because it was exciting and new. I'm moving into taking the points today vs the points tomorrow theory. Who really knows... But next year's class looks weak.
