I'm hearing rumors that Cincinnati wants to move Rey Maualuga to MLB. Dhani is also expected to be a free agent. I remember talk of Rey playing MLB last year, but that never happened. What are the odds Dhani can keep the MLB job in Cincy or find a place to start somewhere else?

Personally, I believe they're more worried about Maulauga's playcalling/leadership abilities that are required at MLB to run a defense. That's the only thing keeping him from completely taking over. His personality reminds me of a friend of mine (from what I've seen on Hardknocks and on the sideline). He's a good kid but I'm willing to bet he's a slow learner. He'll definitely grasp it eventually and run that D from MLB, but it might take another year. dhani brings experience and the bengals value that. that said, i think they are auditioning rey for the mlb job. if he struggles then don't be surprised if muckleroy gets a turn. roddrick is expected to take over at SLB and played almost as many games at Will as he did Mike at texas. LBs coach said that muckleroy can be a good MLB.
