If SD goes into Baltimore and wins today - which I expect them to - it'll be quite a statement.

But I won't be sold on the Colts being any stronger than about 5 or 6 other teams until they develop a running game that they can rely on.

I have to say I've been impressed with the poise of Phillip Rivers so far. Having said that, Rivers hasn't been truly tested yet. Today he WILL be tested.

Irvin went against that and was saying the Ravens, and was getting blasted by Tom Jackson (was waiting for another "Are you ######ed?" question ) Ditka went with SD, which I thought was ballsy. Don't agree exactly with it, until Rivers proves he can get it done. But they are definitely improving a great deal.

How is picking Baltimore ######ed, yet picking Indy not ######ed?

No freakin way. Obviously, they're both good but to say they're the top 2 is not something I can agree with. SD has a 1st year qb and Indy is no better if not worse than the past few seasons now that they don't have Edge. Indy is picked as the top team every season and they still haven't done squat in the playoffs. Why is this year is any different? Honestly, I'm tired of hearing about how great they are.
