Wife and I just had a good 5 days of nerve-wracking life living, thinking she was pregnant.  I use protection (she's gone off the pill but is going back on after this) and she took a test that was positive after a week plus without her period.  We freaked out (well me mostly), and thought our lives had changed.  Come to find out, it was a false positive (super rare).

We plan to start trying in two years (when I turn 30), but it got me wondering about other FBGs and their families.  We're they planned or were they accidents?

Mrs. and I got engaged after 6 months of dating, a couple months later went to brunch on a Sunday and get lit up, went back and decided in that moment, hey, what the heck, let's see what happens.  She was 5 months pregnant at our wedding (but not showing in the wedding gown).  The others after that were foolish, sober, conscious decisions to try and get pregnant.

1 yes. Wife went off the pill because we wanted to get pregnant, and we were pregnant the next month

2 no. Wife was nursing, we weren't careful

3 no.  Wife went off the pill because as she said it was making her a #####.

4 no.  Wife was nursing, I didn't pull out

5 no* we're adopting.

1st, no. 2nd and 3rd yes. 4th would be no again if it happened. :oldunsure:

For our third, we decided we wanted to have one. I thought I was going to get some good action out of it for a little while.... I am willing to give it a try and my wife says it wont happen but you can practice. Not long after that and no other practice, I went on a business trip, came back and she told me she was preggo. One and done. :wall:

1st - yes...took about 6 months of trying

2nd - yes...also took about 6 months

3rd - nope.  I passed out nude and drunk because she wouldn't put out.  Woke up in the middle of the night and coerced her into it and didn't bother with a rubber

all 3 we were both drunk though

Both yes.

We purposefully waited to have kids for 5 years after getting married. We wanted to travel and try and get our stuff together.

My wife was a teacher at the time and so we wanted to time the birth of our child to happen during the summer when she was off. So she went off the pill and one Saturday night with the Cops theme song playing in the background, I gave her the best 3 minutes of her life and Boom, daughter number one was on the way and born in July.

We waited again because we wanted some years between the kids and so rinse and repeat she goes off the pill, and sure enough, Saturday night, And I think it was 6 minutes that time (because I like to satisfy my woman  )  Ironically as we finished that night, my wife said, "Hey, is that the Cops theme playing on the tv?" We took it as a good omen and daughter number two was  born in July as well.

I got snipped shortly thereafter.
