The weather surprised me. The picture is perfect.Thanks....Taken about a month ago. Had a warm spell in April where temps were in the 70's.
Now it's May and today's high is 45F

Kayaking at Bear Canyon
This past weekend my eleven-year old son and I backpacked in to this lake and portaged a kayak with us - he took off on his own and didn't return for four hours. That's the kind of freedom you can't get in the city (we live in central Phoenix).
It was awesome - we even saw a bear and the trout were biting great.
Trout and fried potatoes for breakfast - Yes.

Found this while sorting through some stuff:
Brunch Bill
Brunch for four in Seattle recently,
but only two of us were drinking.
$120 for food
$210 for drinks
In the span of four hours:
Nine Bloody Marys
One Corona
Four White Wine
Five Jack and Coke
Three Champagne
Two Pinot
One Baileys
Two Granny Apple Martinis
Two Irish Coffees to close things off
It was then only 2pm and we proceeded to head to a party and then to another bar for more martinis - it took two full days to recover.
At one point I laid down on the sidewalk near the public market and fell asleep in the middle of a large crowd.

That's tough.. Lot's of good ones. I've been going to the local library and checking out whatever I can find. I also subscribe to:
