Digital Camera pic of the day (2 Viewers)

With a camera that can handle long shutter times I gave it a shot last night...

Very nice! How slow was the shutter for that shot? I'm guessing you had it on a tripod too ... ?
Thanks!Yes on the tripod..

I was switching my shutter length from 15 seconds to 6 seconds.. This one happened to be:

Exposure: 6 sec (6)

Aperture: f/10

Focal Length: 55 mm

ISO Speed: 100

I also had to switch to Manual Focus, which takes a little practice when you are so use to using AF..

The spot I picked ended up being not the best as there was light pole directly to the left and if I didn't zoom in I ended up with extra light in the shot. I now know where NOT to setup for next year. :goodposting:

Beautiful.
Thanks :stalker: It was a learning experience.. some worked:

Sunset Works

Electric

Others...even though I think this one is kind of "cool" it showed me that long shutter times during the grand finale isn't the best option:

Nice. I love Sunset Works.
Thanks to both of you. :lmao:

Love all the pics of the fire works. Well done guys. I was hoping to do some myself, however the weather was not working with us here in the north east.

I took over 500 :wall: while on my trip to Canada..

Of course each sunrise/sunset I took 25+ so that adds up.. Have a lot to go through but here are a couple to start with:

Calm Evening

Glass set
