Digital or mechanical dial? For your home safe. (1 Viewer)

I prefer the reliability of the old school dial but they are tough to open as quickly and the key pad locks are better than in years past. Thoughts?

I have a mechanical dial, but any cheaper safe isn't there for burglary. They can either be forced open quick or just carried out.
The type of dial is much less important than the safe it is on.

If you are looking for quick access for a handgun, I'd go biometric or RFID. Something like this
