I figure I would get a head start on Sunday Ticket & Superfan for 2008. I also need the new dish to upgrade to receive all the HD channels...Anybody have the direct line to Customer retention line?

Call the regular number and ask for Customer Retention.

FWIW, they called me and offered me a free upgrade from my old HD channels and receiver. I got the new HD dish, new HD receiver and 3 months of HD service for free. I told one of my friends and he called and got the same deal. You should be able to get that deal if you push hard enough. If they tell me no, I just tell them I want to cancel, please transfer me to customer retention and they always do.

Called them today and on the second try was able to upgrade to a free HD-DVR and dish, plus $10 off per month for a year. They were quite reasonable!
