***Divisonal Round Playoff Game Thread*** (1 Viewer)

Looking for a good game.
You said this in the other thread, too. Are you ever looking for a bad game?
My brother always said shot for the hottest chick, but when it gets late.Any one will do, going home alone is no option.Another words, lets hope for a good game. But of course we will be ok with a NE blowout. 45-10
MJD=speed

Youve got to want to beat the best if youre gonna move on. Jags are the best running team. Pats are the best at passing. Both strong Ds and well coached teams overall. Respect all around here, especially for a team that goes to Pittsburgh and wins twice in a month.

Per profootballtalk.com

"JAGS BRING EXTRA TECH HELP

One of our moles in Foxboro/ough tells us that the Jags have brought extra tech guys to the game to ensure that there aren't any unforeseen "glitches" with the communications equipment.

The Jaguars, as we hear it, are particularly concerned about the coach-to-quarterback communication equipment, which has a habit of going dead for road teams at Gillette Stadium."

We will see if that can help overcome one of the biggest home field advantage in the league. My guess is not so much. Im hoping for colts/pats so the two best teams can square off once again. GL to both teams.

Jags are going to have to bring more than extra Tech guys to win this game. Good luck to them.

I believe they just said on the pre-game show that this is standard procedure for all teams in playoff games.

This is the price you pay when your team is so hated.

From the live on-site blog of Vic Ketchman (of asterisk power ratings fame) on the Jags website:

Jan 12 2008 7:20PMJaguars fans have been seen here wearing buttons with an asterisk on them. This is really nuts.

just saw this in the boston game blog...

One area that caught the eye in pre-game warmups was the presence of CB Randall Gay with the first unit. He took reps instead of Asante Samuel.

This will be an area we'll be watching as the game begins.

watching the pregame on CBS. Can't help but like Garrard after the segment they did on him :goodposting:

:goodposting: Love Mike Reiss. He does a great job.BTW. Garrard seems like a really good guy.

What is the grey thing painted on the field that looks like it has lasers shooting out of it? What the heck is that supposed to be?
