DJax cut by SF (1 Viewer)

As a Seattle fan, I'd like to have him back. I wasnt happy when they traded him last year for nothing, and he could step right in next year with his chemistry with Hass.

I wasn't exactly happy with the trade either, but all things considered I think Ruskell knew DJack was done. Between his injuries and angst towards the front office, I can understand where TR was coming from. Hopefully Wrotto turns into something, though that may be a long shot. I really doubt Ruskell would want Jackson back at this point, unless he signed for vet minimum.

Wasn't there just a thread about what it means when bad teams cutt players? D Jax is D Done. I wonder if his attitude had much to do with it as he had alienated a lot of Seahawks his final two years there. Getting an OL project for him last year wasn't such a bad deal.
:shrug: I think his knee is shot...Id
I said this a year ago when Seattle traded him to a division rival. There's no way they do so for a low pick if they believed he had anything left. I hope people took the opportunity to trade him back then while he was still worth something.

Until they solve the problems at qb, they could have rice, moss, monk as a three wide reciever set and they would all stink.

I agree with one of the posts above. Djax, doesn't go from a solid wr to a terrible wr in 1 year -- qb

I agree, especially since Rice and Monk are retired.

Battle = n.2/n.3

Johnson = n.2/n.3

Lelie = garbage

Hill = who ?

+ Alex Smith

As a seattle fan, I'm liking the offense I'm seeing them put together so far. :bag:

Somebody will take a run at DJax as a #2 or 3 WR. His upside is still huge if he could remotely return to form vs what you would have to pay him. I'd love to see the Bears offer him an incentive laden contract, but theyve invested all their over the hill WR money already this season.

Broncos about to sign Djax. could Denver be a place where Djax can ressurect his career? There's certainly a void opposite BMarshall...

Jackson in for physical, meeting

Whatever depth problems the Broncos may have at kicker, or punter, or defensive tackle, or offensive tackle, they are compensating for at receiver.

Free-agent receiver Darrell Jackson will take his physical at Dove Valley today, before he and his representative Brian Mooney sit down with Broncos officials. The two sides have already agreed on the financial parameters of a contract, so it appears Jackson is only a handshake away from becoming the latest receiver with an NFL pedigree to join the Broncos.

With 487 career receptions and 50 touchdowns in eight NFL seasons, Jackson, 29, will compete with Keary Colbert, whom the Broncos culled from the free-agent market last month, at No. 2 receiver.

Besides Jackson, the Broncos also signed former Kansas City receiver Samie Parker this week to a one-year deal.

Adding Jackson and Parker to a pass-catching stable that already included Brandon Marshall, Brandon Stokley and Colbert implies the Broncos won't be taking a receiver in the first two rounds of the draft next week.

thanks for the update Moleculo. as a dynasty owner who didn't get out early - I'm still hopeful he can be a WR3. and DEN would be a great place for him to land IMO.

i am a little surprised about the general lack of interest in DJax over the past few weeks. (re: team visit wise)

Seems like this would be a great place for Jackson to land. I'm hoping he can regain some value and end up as a solid WR3.

per KFFL:
