Do not fear the Browns pass D (1 Viewer)

Fantasy sites seem to downgrade Schaub this week because of the matchup, but look at who they have faced:

Alex Smith, Charlie Whitehurst, Kyle Boller, Jason Campbell, Matt Hasselbeck, Chad Henne, Kerry Collins, Bruce Gradkowski, Andy Dalton.

Not exactly worldbeaters. Start Schaub with confidence.

Cleveland is 30th in Pts Allowed to opposing QB's and 28th when factoring in who they've played. That said I'd only bench a top QB against NYJ or Bal.

I'd start Schaub with confidence every week. He's a proven Top 10 fantasy QB who gets it done with and without Andre Johnson. Having Arian Foster and that running game really opens up the play-action and Schaub's very good at play-action. I like Haden a lot at CB for the Browns but I agree they haven't exactly faced a murder's row of QBs. I think a good QB can get it done against them. Alex Smith could have done much better last week but he again had accuracy problems. A better QB wouldn't have missed on some of the throws Smith had.

Glad I'm not the only one who sees Clev passing D numbers as being a function of who they've played. W/ Foster running on all cylinders, Schaub is gonna tag the Brows on play-action for big plays this weeks.

Haden is the real deal, but I don't really like anyone else in our Secondary, aside from Ward. That being said, you have to play who the schedule gods give you, and the fact that we didn't let those mediocre passers blow up is promising, I guess.

Now if we could just fix our RUN defense...
