Do you cheer for or against your CFB team's rival in bowl season/o (1 Viewer)

I am curious about your feelings towards "your team's" rival in college football. Do you cheer against them during the regular season, but does it change in the bowl season?

For me, I will generally hope for losses for Michigan during the regular season, but come bowl season, I hope for their success for the conference and the rivalry in general.

Now, I also attended BYU for undergrad, and I can say I will cheer against Utah any time they play. Their fans are so aggressively obnoxious it would be nearly a Herculean task to not cheer against them.

I don't really care how Michigan does during the regular season, although a small part of me hopes they're undefeated when the OSU game rolls around because it'll make it hurt that much more when they lose.

During bowl season, I root for all of the B1G teams to win - except if Michigan was in the playoffs. Then I want them to lose in embarrassingly spectacular fashion.

I will never root for Pitt to win. Even if a win by them would push WVU into the playoffs. Never.

They are my rivals...I cheer against them all the time.

It does my team zero good for the rvals to win a bowl game.

No kid ever chose to go to a school because it's rival won a title or a bowl game.
