Nope, besides maybe at a museum, I don't think have ever even seen one. Maybe a hunter on the side of the road.

Not sure why this would be surprising.

I don't own one, but don't have a real problem with it. I used to own a Ruger P87 and a little .38 special. First wife kept the .38 and no clue where it is today (she died in 94). Sold the Ruger when my kids were still very young.

I have three kids and always felt like there was a much greater chance of an accident with the gun killing or hurting one of them, than me needing it to defend myself.

I do keep a huge knife under my mattress.
