Are non-humidor balls used when the Rockies hit?Wow. Rockies win a few games they shouldn't have won and suddenly their fans get all cocky.Let me tell you something, people (and this is coming from a life long Broncos fan). Baseball in Colorado is a joke. The Rockies only win because they cheat (humidor). It's just a matter of time before they revert to their usual sub 500 selves.
Figures a life long Bronco fan would post drivel like this. 9news.com had a poll today asking people what they were more excited for: Rockies stretch run or start of Broncos football. It was 4-1 in favor of the Rockies. The humidor is actually a good thing. It mostly negates the altitude effect and makes it easier for small-ball teams to compete at Coors. The baseball world has totally supported the humidor.Personally, I think the Rockies are in some trouble. Injuries have not been kind to them lately and their bullpen has been overworked lately. The only bright spot is after the Giants this weekend the next few weeks' schedule looks very favorable.BusterTBronco said:Wow. The Rockies need to sign Brad Penny - I'm wondering why there aren't reports of them even being interested.Good tight game today - bu tin the end the Dodgers are in the Rockies head. They have since the franchise started and I don't know how they get over it. The injuries to CarGO and Fowler are hurting them on offense and defense - and Cook being out is going to hurt.West Coast road trips are always an adventure for this team and they could be back to tied with the Giants by Sunday.Jimenez vs Lincecum tomorrow - a good matchup if you like pitching - and I would expect Lincecum to get right.

The Rocks are resilient.Another come from behind win - 4-3 over the Reds.4 up on giants in Wild Card - 3 behind Dodgers - with Dodgers tied 3-3 w DBacks and still a chance to get to 2.5 back.
I hate to say this but the Padres always seem to give the Dodgers trouble, regardless of record.eagles2007 said:i wish there was a way to place a bet on the dodgers after tonight's game. the dodgers have 12 games left against the pirates, nationals and padres - 7 of those are against the pirates. that's a cakewalk schedule.
Shoe-in for Manager of the Year.Rockies beat the Reds this afternoon at Coors to complete a 9-1 home stand.
Since June 4th the Rockies record is
61-28 tied with the ................ New York Yankees for the best record since that date.
And.. under Jim Tracy they are 63-32
