I was just wondering if anyone had ever tracked (or does track) PI penalties drawn by each WR.
I'm just wondering if they have any sort of correlation to WR stats in any way. Are there guys that simply draw a lot of PI penalties each year? Are PI penalties unpredictable and somewhat random? Can WRs that draw a lot of intentional PI penalties when they beat a DB avoid some of those and get that yardage? Or are there certain WRs that simply give up receiving yardage/TDs because they draw the PI penalty rather than muscle the ball away/run over a defender/or get by them with their speed?
