Does Earl Bennett have any value (1 Viewer)

It's kind of a tossup with Maclin, but if the question is "does he have value" I would say yes. The Bears passing game is still finding its legs, but he is #2 in targets among Bears WRs behind Knox, and his target-to-catch ratio is higher (21/15 versus Knox's 24/14).

If I could trade him for Maclin I would only do it if I saw some serious bad news about Kevin Curtis.

Maclin's upside is better... but Bennett has some decent PPR value. You need to ask yourself if you want to be conservative (Bennett) or swing for the fences (Maclin).

Of course, in all three types of leagues(dynasty/keeper/re-draft), imo. Although Hester and Know have tools you can't teach, and much more "big-play" potential than Bennett, I think EB has the best chance to become Jay Cutler's primary target. If you've watched any Bears games this year, it's very hard to come away from the game not being impressed with Bennett's excellent hands and route running ability. He may never get you 1500 and 12TD's, but the potential for a consistent 1,000 and 8TD WR as Jay Cutler's most trusted WR is very real.

Maclin has the higher upside, but with Jackson on the team, I think we should all temper expectations just a bit. I'd take him over Bennett(not in a re-draft) in a dynasty/keeper league, but he has boom or bust written all over, at least for the next couple of years, imo.

PPR and dynasty, I have him and am starting him this week on Sunday Night. I am in a 16 teamer, so with byes, Bennet could be a bright start for me, but if you are in a 10 or 12 team league, you may be able to find better options...
