in the league i commish, we charge $1 per player per transaction (trade/FA)

at the end of the year i tally the amount, which usually is over $100 and divide it by 13 , which is the # of weeks of our regular season. that dollar amount is then given to the weekly high scorer for each week

that is in a 10-12 team league

if your league is smaller than that you can (which i have) set a certain number (say 8) and divide the transaction money by that and pay out the 8 highest scores of the season. i include all scores in the regular season , even if they are in the same week

We pay money each week rotating top scores for different positions. For example; top totals for wr's week 1, top rb's week 2, top qb's week 3, top combined team defense and kicker week 5 etc...

$50/week. every week is a different stat category. most rushing yards one week, most passing yards another, etc. makes it fun for everybody all season, even if your team sux0rs. $150 buy in, with $150 real money FA blind bidding.

Our league has a $100 entry fee with 3 Divisions of 4 teams each. The weekly high scorer in each division gets an extra $10.

$25 for high points each week + $20 for a prop bet each week, different each time. for example: top RB, top QB, top LB+DL, top QB+WR....

50 dollars for high scorer of the week.
Just out of curiousity, what's the buyin for this league? Assuming 13-14 weeks (i.e., only during the fantasy regular season), that's $54 per person in a 12 team league and still near $50 for a 16 team. Just trying to figure out what % of the pot you are putting to weekly pts leaders.Like I said on the original thread, this really only applies to leagues with $200-250 per team going to payoff.

What are your other payouts?

Also, most of us play in more than one league. The question should really be "does the majority of your leagues have a weekly payout?", because like I said we're all probably in at least one that has a payout and thus many will answer in the affirmative :lmao:

Didn't think of it till after. You're right though, options should be something like No, Most Don't, Half and Half, Most do, Yes.

Also, your question should have specified pay-to-play leagues. Of course free leagues would answer no.

No, but I've been lobbying for one for years. I think that my league will vote it in this year. It makes too much sense not to have a weekly winner.

Nope.........we award the owners who actually put together a solid enough team that can compete for a title. 12-Team (5) Keeper League

Top 3 finishers get cash. 1st - $360.00, 2nd - $240.00, 3rd - $120.00.

We also have 4 other cash prizes up for grabs to any team that can claim them.

Most Team Points during regular season earns all Trade/Waiver money - approx. $300.00 each year

Elimination Pot - $120.00 (Runs first 11 weeks)

Pro-Bowl Pot - $120.00 ( All eligible players on roster in actual NFL playoffs)

Pick 'Em Pot - $60.00 (CBS thing, it is what it is, and we added a cash award to give lowly teams a chance to win cash)

That's (generally a minimum of) $1320.00 a year up for grabs. No weekly payouts.

ETA: I participate in a number of leagues, just giving you my main league criteria here. No, none of the leagues I am involved with have weekly payouts. Most believe it diminishes from the actual winners take, which no one wants to do.

My own feeelings: If you cannot put together a team that is playoff bound or a title contender, why should you be given a cash bonus for winning a couple of weeks throughout the year? Go put together a solid team that competes year in and year out, then come see me for your winnings.

no each team puts in about 1500+ throughout the year(entry fees, pickups/drops, trades) and only first and second place get money.

In a Dynasty League I run it's 250.00 to enter. 150.00 for the prize fund and 100.00 for Blind Bidding . I pay 10.00 to each Team that wins each week. It keeps the cost of next years entry fee down and it also helps at the end of the season when a team might think about dumping for a better pick.
