**Dolphins at Seahawks** (-4.5, 41.5) 4:05 (1 Viewer)

I need the Seahawks Defense to do to Thompson what the Jets did to Jacoby Brisket.

This should also be an interesting game to see what JSN’s numbers look like after a calm week 1 and a coming out party week 2.

Hopeful he becomes an every week easy start.

Seattle -4.5
You've been right on quite a few so far, I hope you miss on this one today and Skylar Thompson looks decent as an NFL QB
Long shots I know but we gotta have some hope down here

-Team in one of my Redrafts changed their name from "Tua Infinity and Bijan" to "Get Tua Doctor"
Crazy how upbeat most Phins fans were prior to the season and the reality that we likely are going nowhere

Seattle is tough place to play for a visiting team.
Seattle is a tough place to play for a backup quarterback.
Seattle is a tough place to play for a team travelling across the country.
Seattle has the best fresh seafood anywhere.
Seattle wins this game...

Seahawks- 29
Dolphins- 12

If Skylar doesn't look decent, the Dolphins have some real questions to answer.

I know you can't invest a a lot of resources into a backup quarterback.

But the Dolphins were in this exact same spot 2 years ago (which is a thousand years in NFL terms), and seemingly done nothing to address the situation.

Hopefully, there's been some fantastic behind the scenes development.

Because if McDaniels is a really an offensive wunderkind, and he's been this committed to Skylar for this long under these circumstances, you would think there would be some progress

And that is where I am afraid Coach MM falls short
Almost none of the Draft Picks since he's been here have truly developed, granted they used a lot fo draft capital to bring in free agents which is partly my point.
He's not a player developer IMO, he has a pretty good playbook he's developed and stole from Kyle Shanahan
His biggest fail IMO thus far is the Defense, we look terrible on that side of the ball right now. IDL has a lot of questions, LBs not really making plays, Secondary does all they can to try and limit the passing yds but they need more help from the F7, and he's now on his 3rd DC inside of 3 seasons

Ride or Die with Skylar for the rest of '24. All Miami fans I know are just fine if Miami loses a lot fo football games from here on out this season.
Fastes way out of this mess is to Draft a QB and get them back on Rookie Salary and then clear the deck with as many of these contracts as possible
I get to watch Cam Ward every week down here, he would look so good in teal n orange

DOLPHINS

  • CB Ethan Bonner
  • QB Tyler Huntley (emergency third QB)
  • OLB Mohamed Kamara
  • C Andrew Meyer
  • RB Raheem Mostert
  • LB Channing Tindall
  • WR Malik Washington

Horse Collar was visible from space
I don't understand the NFL, as blatant as it could be and then also it was done on a lat hit out of bounds
What the BLEEP!!!

And then of course Coach MM can't pick up 1 yard on 2nd/3rd Down and tries to kick a 57-yd FG
Dumb Dumb Dumb
The honeymoon is OVER MM

Bad decision by McDaniel. Hindsight, but the odds say to go for 1. You got 2 WRs who can separate.
The warts are going to be revelaed while Skylar is under center
I think the worst extension was a needless Mike McDaniel extension thru the end of time or whatever it was

Mike McDaniel just replicated what he did in Buffalo during the Playoffs in '22
He just **** his pants trying to call timeout on a crucial 3rd down

McDaniel is being exposed, it's clear he has no business as a Head Coach right now

You're in Year 3 as a Head Coach and not a single starter on the OL/DL was drafted under his tenure and you're getting your butt handed to you
Miami cannot sustain any run game and cannot get off the field on Defense

38 last week, 17 and counting in the 1st Half this week, this team is throwing in the towel on the season
He might have lost the locker room already
Players in that locker room are thinking about their future right now

At the same time, it's best if Miami gets blown out every week the rest of the season
Will get them in the Cam Ward sweepstakes and slowly push them in a direction away from Tua and McDaniel

Mike McDaniel deserves AL the credit for them looking this bad so early in the season
Maybe he can call Tua and go get a milkshake after the game tonight

May want to consider putting Tyler Huntley in as emergency QB, and letting him draw up schoolyard plays on his stomach.
Won't happen this game.

>>Remember, Tyler Huntley can enter today only if Skylar and Boyle are injured or ejected. He cannot play if they're simply ineffective...<<

I actually didn't know that. I knew once the emergency QB came in, the other 2 QBs can't come back in, but I didn't realize they had to actually be hurt/ejected.

And it's not gonna happen
If I owned the team I would absolutely MAKE them start Thompson every week
No need to get a "surprise" win and go from #4 overall in the Draft to #10, it just won't help this team long term
