**Dolphins vs Panthers**(+1, 45) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

The resistible force meets the movable object. The interesting name in this game is Darren Waller. Miami needs him to step up a lot without Tyreek Hill, and Carolina maybe as bad as any team in the NFL in the intermediate coverage area. Fully expect Achane to continue to get monster (almost CMC-like) passing usage. Horn/Waddle could be a fun battle, one Miami likely shouldn't push given the other options.

No Hubbard, and down 2 OL starters, makes me think we'll get Carolina coming out pass heavy. Maybe this is the big McMillan breakout week? He has at least 8 targets in every game this season, and has 3 inches on anyone who would be covering him.

I think Miami pulls this one out, and Dolphins fans start talking about the Ewing Theory.
 
Grew up a Miami fan but have lived here in Charlotte for the last 15 years. Definitely looking forward to going tomorrow. Both of these teams are terrible, could be a fun game.

Actually just got back from a birthday party at the stadium. The let the kids run around on the turf. Impressive ball security from my boy. Definitely doesn't want anyone else to get the ball. :lol:
 
I thought The Panthers would be better than they have shown so far
The Dolphins are right about where I thought they'd be right now.
I think The Dolphins are a little better overall
But I can't resist a home dog,even a small one...

Hubbard OUT is kind of big for Carolina
I still am not sure what the loss of Hill is going to do.
The Miami offense wasn't lights out prior to his injury

Can we see OG in the back field with Achane lined up wide or. in the slot?
Is there a way for both RBs to operate in this offense and will Miami use more 2 TE sets with Walller and Julian Hill today?
Miami rookie OL Jonah is rated as the worst starting Guard in the NKL
 
The Jonah Savaiinaea tradeup is not looking good. Shades of the Liam Eichenberg tradeup.

If they wanna win now, Jonah gets benched.
 
Achane is fast, good vision, but doesn't break many tackles as a runner. I'd use more Gordon between the tackles and Achane as a receiver down field.
 
Drafting Chase Brown over Achane has not worked out for me. All that injury talk before the season on Achane calf had him dropping to the late 2nd round and dummy me got scared like people got scared of CMC the last couple days.
 
Panthers looking to make this a game before the Half
Miami had built a 17-0 lead but they are by no means out of the wood yet
That defense still is mostly terrible
 
Rico needs to be the starting RB.

This is where the culture of the NFL annoys me. In his first half as starter, Rico has as many rushing yards as Chuba does in an entire game (not even accounting for his work receiving). 97 first half yards from scrimmage.

But because Chuba was drafted in the 4th and Rico was a UDFA, Rico, even though he was a 1K rusher last year, he always has to prove himself into a starting gig.

It has nothing to do with draft position. Hubbard took over as their starter last year and did well enough to get a contract extension. The job is his unless he can’t perform.
 
Bad call by the refs, that was clearly DPI by Jones on Tet. If I were CAR, I'd throw more go routes when Jones is covering, he's 5'11", takes chances, and Tet is 6 inches taller.
 
Actually loving this game as I have Dowdle drafted into one dynasty league lineup due to injury and finally seeing Waddle come alive in my other dynasty league lineup. Was always capable of this, it was sheer gluttony Dolphins having two WRs that are so similar
