Joining the family of The Good `O Boys sponsored Leagues is Double Down. It combines Head-to-Head and Survivor with a Playoff atmosphere.
If you are familiar with Soccer, NCAA baseball, and Little League Tournaments you will understand the simple concept of Double Down - have one bad game and you can still take it all. Lose two and your Team goes home.
Double Down's schedule is set for 9-10 weeks, (based on 12 Teams, but can accomodate additional Teams). With the uncertainity of a Full NFL Season this year, it fits nicely. Check out the BRACKETS to see how the games are set up.
Scoring is TD-Performance based mimicking the NFL as close as possible. Points are swarded for TDs and additional points are awarded for the TD distance. Place Kickers and Defense/Special Teams will also contribute to a Fantasy Team's final score.
And you don't have to worry about a Draft, Injured Players, Trades, Taxi Squads, etc. Pick who you want in your Lineup each week and play an individual NFL Player as often and as many times you want. Scoring and League Rules can be found HERE.
Originally I was thinking that for this Inaugural Season there would be no entry fee, but what fun is that? The Champion deserve a monetary reward for his/her extra-ordinary efforts. Its minimal - $21 and the Winners get it all (less MFL and PayPal Fees).
