Doug Martin? Drop CJA, Thompson or Carson to get him? (1 Viewer)

I am intrigued by the possibilities of the Muscle Hamster next week and he is available right now.

Am I overthinking it and just stick with my guys?

League is 3 RB locked, can't swap WR for RB, etc.

No Flex, Non-PPR, Standard

Do it, in non PPR I'd drop either Thompson or Carson but would lean towards dropping Thompson. Neither of them have been TD machines although Carson will get the goal line work if they ever get the ball in that position.

Not to hijack the thread, but why do people play in leagues that set a ridiculous 3 RB limit on teams?  Are people that afraid of playing in deep leagues?  Always gotta make sure they can find a starter on the wire when one of their guys tweaks a hammy?  No reason why you should have to drop any of those guys, but since you must, yeah I guess it'd be Thompson

Because sometimes leagues adjust to what works best for them. Some people like playing tight rosters with tough decisions. Others like playing deep rosters with longshot potential. Others like DFS style play. Still others like dynasty leagues. IDP, PPR, etc. The answer is, some people just like that kind of league. And sometimes those that don't simply like the people they are playing with.

My guess is it's because "it's always been that way".   I don't mind all different types of leagues however, flexibility should be key.   I don't get the purpose of forcing restrictions like you must have exactly 3 RB's on your roster but I am sure there are some that do like that structure.
