Before somebody moves this over to the forum least viewed can I ask one question...

Based on my league settings and scoring (PPR) Larry Fitz had an ADP of 1.11 and a VBD of 95 and ranked 6th in my league

What am I missing that he is ranked so high based on my settings and can't you filter it based on ADP or will it just default to points? Maybe I'm not using this right...any hlp will be greatly appreciated.

Not sure of your league requirements, but I'm assuming you must start 3 WR, which makes WR a bit more important. Also, with it being a PPR, that adds more value to the WR position. Current FBG projections has Fitzgerald with 95 catches and 9 td's. That makes him rated 2nd in catches and tied for 2nd in Td's. If you think these #s are too high for him, then you can go into the projections and lower his totals a bit, which would then lower his overall value. Sounds like everything is right, and it is what it is based on your scoring system. Curious - is Ander Johnson like around top 5 with your scoring?

You also could go into vbd settings (File -- Setup -- VBD Baseline) and manually enter numbers for each position instead of using Joe's Secret Formula. This may take a few minutes to calibrate but I believe it's worth it. For me, the best part is it allows you to replicate the flavor of YOUR league. For an example, in a 12 team league, you can estimate the number of players at each position that are drafted through round 8, which involves a total of 96 picks, as something like this:

Under "User Configurable by Position Ranks" enter

QB: 11 (or 13 or whatever)

RB: 36 (or 33 or 40 or whatever)

WR: 38 (or 34 or 44 or whatever)

TE: 8 (or whatever)

PK: 0 (or something else if it's a fairly unusual league)

DT: 3 (or whatever)

Note that the first column numbers add up to exactly 96.

It's great if these numbers represent your league, but EVEN IF THEY DON'T, you can start with something similar and then see how Draft Dominator adjusts its rankings. If you think one position is overrepresented or if you simply want to influence the rankings of one position relative to the others, then all you need to do is go adjust the numbers you have entered for the position. Want to slightly devalue WR? Lower the number. Think QBs are being undervalued? Raise the number.

Don't forget to check the box next to "User Configurable by Position Rank" or the numbers are not used.

By the way, the 8th round cutoff in my example above is arbitrary, but for me it's a decent cutoff between when teams have all of their typical starters and when pure depth is being pursued. If you want to use 7 rounds, then the number for a 12 team league is 7x12 = 84. Adjust for your league size and whatever round you like. It will still work.

Oh, and you can always go back to Joe's Secret Formula by clicking one box... so no permanent harm will come to your DD.
