The Patriots are very tough to project. Like Seattle and Denver they march to a different beat. I wanted to include a couple other names, but had to narrow it down. I voted, reluctantly for the best RB-- DeAngelo. I didn't expect others to already be voting for him. I'll be surprised if he ends up in NE, but I have a feeling he will in this mock. Fwiw, Belichick was quoted in an article this morning talking up the talented 3-4 skillset LBs available. I should have voted accordingly.

Being a Pats fan, I'd love it if the Pats took DeAngelo Williams.

Yet I voted for Carpenter as I think he's the best pick for the team.

I voted Carpenter as well because I just can't see Belichick taking a RB in the 1st.

Agreed all around, one of the more difficult to predict, but I'm voting Carpenter.
