Draft types fairness comparison (1 Viewer)

I remember reading an article a few years ago comparing different draft methods and their fairness. Pitting serpantine versus straight 1-12 every round, etc. Does anyone remember reading that or know where to find it?

I think it used some sort of VBD to give rough ideas of how even each type of draft made things. We're currently having a discussion about changing our current method and it would be interesting to see what some hard numbers looked like.

The only way a draft is truly "fair" is with an auction. There is no getting around the fact that by the first 7 picks rice/McCoy/foster/Matthews/Rodgers/mega are gone and it's points that are hard to make up for unless they have to give up extra cash for them.

Unless you are talking about round 3 reversal, serpentine is really the only fair way to do it

might find it with a search on Jeff Pasquino - his article was about serpentine v 3RR v Bonzai and he had numbers for 10/12/14 teamers IIRC
