Drafted 11th in 12 team PPR. Can a team still contend with horrid RB's? (1 Viewer)

Elliott went 9th OA.

Start  2 rbs, 2 wrs, 1 te, 1 flex

Rodgers (3.11)

Cook (4.2), Coleman (7.11), Peterson (9.11), Henry (10.2), Foreman (14.2)

Nelson (1.11), M Thomas (2.2), Crabtree (6.2), Parker (8.2), Maclin (12.2)

Kelce (5.11)

Texans (11.11)

Vinatieri (13.11)

Could have had Murray in the 1st

Could have had Howard or Ajayi in the 2nd

I thought Rodgers and Kelce were way too good to pass up at their draft positions.

When I drafted Cook in the 4th...  he was the 20th RB taken.

When I drafted Parker in the 8th.... 30 RBs had been taken.

i'd say you just executed zero RB to near perfection. I would dump maclin for a lotto ticket RB. well done

I agree. For not getting an RB in the 2nd, you grabbed great value with Cook in the 4th and Peterson n the 9th and get the #1 or #2 QB in the third and the #1 TE in the 5th. Henry and Foreman are sitting there as potential studs should either Miller or Murray go down to injury.
Overall, nice job. I think Thomas might have been a reach at #2 because it's hard to tell if he's going to be able to take over the #1 WR role in NO with Cooks gone, but if he does, you may have the 2 best production WRs in your league.

Yes, you can contend. Yes your RBs are weak to start, but can only get better with a couple strong backups on there. Don't sweat your RBs, but instead have confidence in your strength at other positions.
