You already picked them over the others why change? Only change idea I have for you is to drop Conklin for ANY of the possible breakout WRs that are out there.

I say no since I don't think the cle 0 is really that horrible and I don't think you are particularly strong at WR. Douglas is a better drop unless you already have.

sorry, I'm a little tired. For some reason I read your WRs without Puka and thought you were starting Brown and Cooper. lol Brown is out week 1 and I'm not sure if that injury will linger and he might be the 4 or 5th option. Not sure I trust Cooks, and I think chi is crowded. I hope that make a little sense. I think Jeudyy is good depth.

Can't really judge. BTW including league number of teams and scoring rules makes a difference.
This is important. League settings/scoring and past history of the league.

Why do you need to carry a 2nd QB and TE? Especially Conklin and Geno. Those could have been RBs you picked up.

Douglas isn't a bad stash and neither is Jeudy for where he went. I'm not a big fan of Jeudy but you drafted him and now you dropped him? Could have been worth a hold for a week or 2 to see where he fits in and then drop if he's no good. Anyways...

Why be so rash to make moves if you drafted those guys to see what they could be? You can't start 2 QBs or TEs so that is where my drops would be first to pick up RBs. I would have done this during the draft but now you have to be quick on the waivers if there is an RB you need.

I like your 3 starting RBs but a little depth there would go a long way.

In case of injuries and/ or poor performance?

:oldunsure:
I feel you can get someone of equal "value" off waivers for Conklin and Smith if injuries happen - just stream the best guy week to week. Bottom line though If Kelce and Murray have poor performances those other 2 guys you have won't cover it. Conklin/Smith also aren't likely to blow up and hit a massive ceiling - we have seen years of what they can do.

I'd much rather spend late picks on some young RBs who if they hit or become the starter could sky rocket in value. Then you can either spot start them or maybe even make a trade if you have a need.

Unless you have 7-8 bench spots and the top 25 QBs are horded I see no reason to roster Geno and even less interest in Conklin right now.

Just my few cents.

What’s the starting roster set-up? Say it’s QB/2RB/2WR/TE/FLEX/DEF/K … personally I think you’re carrying way too many WRs with plenty of guys likely already sat on waivers who can do a job of filling in for a bye/injury. But I wouldn’t be dropping a WR like Jeudy before the first game. Like someone already said, you can drop the 2nd TE & QB until you need one, in a 12 team they’re not that valuable when you only need a bye week filler (fingers crossed) Fill your bench with RBs who have a path to play and could expect a large volume if the starter is out.. guys like Estime/Tracy/Irving/Mason/B Allen/K Mitchell.

My general philosophy for "normal" leagues (12 man, ~6 bench spots) is that I reserve my bench for extra WRs that I would feel comfortable starting weekly and upside RBs that if they hit (end up starting) could easily slip into my starting line-up.

If I end up with a TE like Kelce I don't need to have a roster clogger like Conklin who I will never play outside of a bye week or injury. If Kelce did get hurt Conklin can likely be picked up off waivers (except super deep bench leagues maybe? 8+ bench). Conklin would cost at most 5 or 10 FAAB if you were desperate.

I'd rather keep back-up RBs who if the starter got hurt can instantly be plugged into my starting roster and be a top 20 RB. These type of RBs go for 50-100+ FAAB. Some people might blow 75% of FAAB on them. I like to get ahead of the curve as RBs are most likely to miss time and I would rather stash RBs than an extra TE or QB who won't start for me.
