Drafting 10th out of 12 (1 Viewer)

Tomorrow I'm drafting 10th out of 12 teams in a PPR league and am very very strongly considering passing on RB's with my first two picks. So I ran a few quick mocks in Draft Dominator...

RB/RB/WR/WR - I just can't seem to get too excited about a team with Jordan and McGahee as my workhorse backs, although I could do worse than Driver and Plax as my top two WR's. Total points between starting QB/2RB/3WR=1518

WR/WR/RB/RB - This is has a better feel-good factor for me. Smith and CJ at WR with Dunn and Foster at RB. I know neither RB is anything to write home about, but there were still other serviceable RB's available at the 5/6 turn. Total points=1589

QB/WR/WR/RB - Here I draft Manning in the first round and end up with CJ/Driver at WR, then Foster and Gore at RB. This appears to be the money combo at a point total of 1615.

Based on this it may be hard to pass on Manning at 10 (although I wouldn't be suprised if he's gone by then) and it looks like taking RB's with the first 2 picks yeilds the least (theoretical) points by almost 100!

Thoughts?

I did this, and went RB/RB/WR/WR. Not THAT happy with it, but whatever. I'd take Manning, if I could do it over (all TD's 6 pts).

Even so, you are neglecting RB's too much...dangerous game. Take at least one in your first 2 picks. Relying on what you MIGHT get at 3.10 and thereafter has too much chance involved. Still very good WR's at 3.10/4.03 anyway...
